If you like the games you played when you were little than Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine is surely going to bring you back to those days.  Back in the days when video games were not so popular as they are now, our imagination was stimulated through other means, like tabletop games. While Romanian kids were satisfied with games such as Piticot or Dacii in the western countries kids entered universes such as Dungeons & Dragons and Warhammer 40,000. Eventually, because of their huge popularity, a step was made to the video games industry, where the game Warhammer 40,000 made a name for itself as being the best game of strategy, thanks to the Relic studio which designed the Dawn of War.

But this new game, the Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine, has nothing to do with strategy, Relic choosing to do this time a genuine action game, loaning some mechanic game techniques from other similar productions. It is a unique combination inspired from a lot of famous games.

The action takes place on planet Gaia, a planet which was a provider of numerous war or normal machines, where an army of orks attack it. Because it is considered a strategic point the authorities of the empire deicide o send an army of Ultramarines at the surface of the planet to fight off the army of orks.

As far as graphics are concerned, the game looks good from the beginning to the end. The game was moved from consoles but the adaptation is of quality, Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine having not problems running in 1080p on a laptop. The voices of the game are also of quality and were perfectly adapted, the voices fitting perfectly with the atmosphere of the game. The only minus here are the lines of the orks which tend to be repeated over and over again and adding to that the Australian accents, it can become a little annoying.

With all its minuses the game Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine will give you a memorable experience even though it does not reach up to the titles from which it was inspired. So, if you have the chance to play this game or if your PlayStation is broken do not hesitate to play it because you will love it. This game should be in your house whenever you want to remember the days when you were little and video games did not exist.
